The Tenne see Titans enjoyed an impre sive 2021, one that further solidified their status as one of the best teams in football.Mike Vrabel's squad raced to a 6-2 record in its first eight games. Star running back Derrick Henry laid siege to opposing defenses in the proce s, racking up at least 130 rushing yards in four of those contests.Henry went down with a broken foot in Week 8 and mi sed the rest of the regular season with the injury. How'd the Titans do in his absence? Well, they won six of their last nine games, rolling to a 12-5 record before being ousted in AFC Divisional round by the Bengals. The time is now for the Titans to compete for a Lombardi Trophy. There are precious few holes in their roster. But, if Tenne see wants to take the next step and earn its first Super Bowl appearance since 1999, it will have to supplement Henry, A.J.Brown, Amani Hooker and Kevin Byard with young talent. Here's a look at the Titans' picks in the 2022 NFL Draft:TSN's NFL DRAFT HQ || Round 1, Pick No Orrin Centazzo Jersey . 18:Treylon Burks, WR, ArkansasRound 2, Pick No. 35:Roger McCreary, CB, AuburnRound 3, Pick No. 69:Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT, Ohio StateRound 3, Pick No. 86: Malik Willis, QB, LibertyRound 4, Pick No. 131: Ha san Haskins, RB, MichiganRound 4, Pick No. 143: Chigoziem Okonkwo, TE, MarylandRound 5, Pick No. 163: Kyle Phillips, WR, UCLARound 6, Pick No. 204: Theo Jackson, CB, Tenne seeRound 6, Pick No. 219:Chance Campbell, LB, Mi si sippi.RoundPick118 (from Eagles via Saints)235 (from Jets)369 (from Jets)386 (from Raiders)41314143 (compensatory)5163 (from Jets via Steelers)516962046219 (compensatory)MORE:Wide Receiver: The Titans cut Julio Jones during the offseason, leaving a hole at the No. 2 WR position. Although star wideout A.J. Brown impre sed throughout the 2021 season, Tenne see will need multiple weapons both in the air and on the ground to set the pace in the AFC.Cornerback: In Byard and Hooker, the Titans po se s two of the best safeties in the league ballhawks capable of making plays up and down the field. Yet, they are fairly unproven at corner. Adding more corner depth may go a long way to helping secure coverage for Tenne see in 2022, imminently important in a conference with Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, among other hurlers.Tight End: Tenne see could use an upgrade at tight end. Vrabel's squad brought in veteran Austin Hooper to add to their tight end depth, but adding another vertical threat at the position may make its offense that much more versatile. Given the limitations in Ryan Tannehill's game, that's only a good thing for the Titans going forward. Here are the latest 2022 NFL Draft projections for the Titans, :RoundPickPlayerPositionCollege126David OjaboEDGEMichigan390Cole StrangeGChattanooga4131Ha san HaskinsRBMichigan4143Dane BeltonSIowa5169Marquis HayesGOklahoma6204JT WoodsSBaylor6219Patrick PaulOTHouston Cade Webber Jersey
