Craft and Sell Lesser Magic Wands

Lesser Magic Wands are valuable during the early leveling process, especially for Mages, Warlocks, and Priests. Their damage can outperform many early spells, reducing downtime between fights and helping players level more efficiently.

You can craft a Lesser Magic Wand at Enchanting skill level 10. Its materials include Simple Wood, a vendor-purchased component, and a Lesser Magic Essence.

To maximize early profits, reach Enchanting level 10 as quickly as possible, gather the required materials, and craft several Lesser Magic Wands. Advertise your products in the Trade and General chat channels, focusing on starting zones where newly created characters are likely to need affordable weapons.

Many players want these wands as soon as they become available at level 5, making early sales an opportunity to earn silver and build your starting capital.

Progress Toward Greater Magic Wands

Once you have earned some money, reinvest your profits into materials that help you level Enchanting toward skill level 70.

Greater Magic Wands become available later in the leveling process, around character level 13 for players seeking to equip them. They offer substantially improved performance and remain useful while players progress toward stronger dungeon rewards.

Although some players may eventually obtain better weapons, Greater Magic Wands can still attract buyers who want a convenient upgrade without relying on dungeon drops.

Use Profession Shuffling to Obtain Enchanting Materials

The main challenge is obtaining enough Lesser Magic Essences. A practical solution is to pair Enchanting with Tailoring or Leatherworking.

Tailoring is particularly useful because Linen Cloth is widely available early in the game. Follow this process:

• Buy inexpensive Linen Cloth from the Auction House or obtain it while leveling.
