Harish Sharma started his mutual fund distribution journey in 2009, after being motivated by Gaurav Taneja, then an RM at Prudent.
Based in Pune, Harish built his business by serving Army personnel, from senior officers to newly recruited soldiers. His early years were challenging, but a conversation with an Army officer changed his approach: instead of waiting for clients, he started going to them.
Today, Harish manages around ₹80 crore in AUM.
In this conversation, he shares his journey of building long-term client relationships, helping investors stay committed during market volatility and how FundsBazaar made his daily business easier by reducing paperwork and simplifying transactions.
He also shares how Prudent's back-office, relationship and management teams have supported him throughout his journey since 2009.
